Agrecovery services ‘paused’ during lockdown

As we head into Alert Level Four of the government’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Agrecovery’s recycling services will be temporarily suspended from Thursday 26 March for a minimum of one month.

We ask that farmers and growers do not drop containers off to Agrecovery recycling collection sites during this time. This is so we can keep our members, sites and staff safe.

This is not a stop to recycling. We must continue to be good stewards of our land. We are just pausing our services for now and we will ensure that we have extra services available to collect and recycle all the containers that accumulate during this time. So please keep up the good work. Your support is invaluable.

Keep triple-rinsing containers

Keep triple-rinsing containers and store them in a safe and dry place.  If you end up with more than 300 containers, we will collect them from your place as soon as we can.

Collection sites will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so, so keep checking in for updates.

We’re here to help

Our office is fully operational, with all staff working remotely.  Any questions about farm recycling can be directed to info@agrecovery.org.nz or via our 0800 number (0800 247 326).

We are working hard to get services running as soon as it is safe to do so.

We understand that this is a challenging time for many people and businesses will be impacted, and though it may take some time to work through, we hope that we will soon see society and businesses fully functioning again.

Thanks for your patience during this time.
